Dr. Donald Arima grew up and returned to practice in McCleary, Washington after graduating in 1981 from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Dr. Graham Egger is a 2004 graduate of the University of Washington's School of Dentistry. Following graduation, he began an associateship in a family practice in Federal Way with his father-in-law, long-time Summit member, Dr. Henry Surbeck. Dr. Daniel Friedman has specialized in the practice of dentistry, periodontics and implant dentistry for over twenty-five years. He has been at this location for over twenty years.Dr. Friedman graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA with a Bachelor of Arts degree and then a Doctorate degree in dental medicine. His graduate work in periodontics was completed at the University of Washington. He then continued with advanced dental implant training at UCLA. Dr. Don Jayne a 1975 graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry, completed his formal education at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, then returned to the University of Washington to join the faculty of the dental school. After five years on faculty, he entered private practice in Seattle where he enjoys a flourishing cosmetic and general dentistry practice. Dr. Jayne has maintained a lifelong commitment to continuing education through participation in numerous study clubs including groups led by Dr. John Kois, Dr. Robert Foucher, and Dr. Frank Spear, and extensive participation in hands-on, live patient programs. Dr. Lynn Jones is an internationally recognized speaker and clinician. A graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry, she is known for both her excellent cosmetic dentistry and innovative management practices. She is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, has served on the board of directors and is currently an accreditation examiner. Dr. Jones has been dedicated to access for all dental patients and was a founder of the Snohomish County Dental Foundation. She organized resources and raised sufficient funds to build a four chair dental clinic for the Snohomish County Community Health Center. She was the founder and director of “Aesthetics, a live patient continuum” for the University of Washington, Department of Continuing Dental Education focusing on cosmetic and restorative dentistry.   Dr. Frank Rudey is a 1992 Honors graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He has presented papers internationally and was awarded the NIDR Dentist-Scientist fellowship, which allowed him to pursue his orthodontic specialty training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill under the mentorship of Dr. Bill Proffit. This program is held by many as the preeminent orthodontic training program of its time. He directs a successful orthodontic practice in south Seattle that was established by Dr. Raymond Kubisch, the founder of the Summit Dental Study Group. He devotes considerable time and effort to enhance the practice of dentistry by supporting and providing leadership for quality education programs.

Dr. Troy Schmedding graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. As a native of Washington, a strong desire to return to the northwest brought him back to Issaquah in 1996. Dr. Bill Schmidt received his DMD degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1976. After completing a General Practice Residency with the US Public Health Service he continued his education at the University of Washington where he received his M.S.D. degree in Prosthodontics. Dr. Schmidt has lectured nationally and internationally on various prosthodontic and restorative subjects. As a mentor and advisor in several study clubs and dental organizations he continues to work toward enhancing the level of dental excellence in the community. For over twenty years Dr. Schmidt has enjoyed his private practice in south Seattle specializing in fixed and removable prosthodontics and implant restorations.

Mr. Jerry Ritsema is a 1988 graduate of the University of Oregon and has worked in several capacities in the business world. Currently he is the branch manager for Burkhart in Western Washington. One of his responsibilities is to support local dentists in their efforts to continually enhance their skills, and enjoy success in the practice of dentistry.
